04:30 – Departure from Cusco

•Meet at your hotel in Cusco to board a comfortable van.

•The journey begins early to make the most of the visit to two of Peru’s most fascinating mountains.

•During the approximately 3 to 4-hour journey, your guide will introduce you to the history of the colorful mountains and talk about the Andean geography and local communities.

08:00 – Arrival in Palcoyo

•Arrival in Palcoyo, one of Peru’s most spectacular colorful mountains.

•Hiking and Overcoming Limits: We will begin an easy but challenging hike to the viewpoints that offer stunning views of the mountains with shades of red, green and yellow, caused by the rich mineralization of the soil.
•Natural Beauty: The vibrant color palette of Palcoyo is a spectacle in itself, and you will have the opportunity to walk among snow-capped peaks and unique rock formations.
•The local guide will explain the geological origins of this natural beauty and the Andean legends that surround the mountains.

09:30 – Departure to the Purple Mountain

•We continue our journey to the Purple Mountain, a less visited destination, which makes the experience even more exclusive.
•The journey to the Purple Mountain takes about 30 minutes, offering panoramic views of little-explored areas and unparalleled beauty.

10:00 – Arrival at the Purple Mountain

•Exploring the Purple Mountain:
•Upon arrival, we will take a short walk to the observation point, where you will be able to see the purple and lilac hues of the mountain, one of the most unique in the country.
•The guide will explain the geological formation of the mountain, the different layers of sediment and the importance of this unique ecosystem for the Andean region.
•The surreal beauty and intense colors of the mountain provide an unforgettable experience and an excellent opportunity for photos.

12:00 – Typical Andean Lunch

•After hiking and exploring the mountains, you will be served a typical Andean lunch prepared by a local community.
•Lunch includes dishes made with authentic ingredients from the region, such as quinoa, Andean potatoes, corn and local meat. It is a chance to delve deeper into the local culture and traditional flavors.

1:30 PM – Free Time to Relax and Explore

•After lunch, enjoy some free time to relax and soak up the tranquility of the area.

•You can take more photos, hike the trails, or simply enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding the mountains.

2:30 PM – Return to Cusco

•Reboard the comfortable van for the return trip to Cusco. During the journey, your guide will be available to answer questions or share more information about Andean culture.

•Take advantage of the return trip to reflect on the journey of overcoming limits and the deep connection with nature in the mountains.

5:00 PM – Arrival in Cusco
